ABOUT US 

VISION AND MISSION

Layung Fajar Indonesia Foundation was established in January 2007, with the determination of its founders to participate actively helping to empower the local poor communities in Indonesia.

Layung Fajar Indonesia Foundation is a non profit organization which organizes its activities to community empowerment, education and training to help poor children who cannot afford to go to school, providing humanitarian assistance to the victims of natural disasters and work with appropriate plan, honest, transparent, independent, and professional.

The foundation was established by Legal Act of Tjahja Rinanto Indra, SH No. 4 On January 8, 2007 and LAW AND HUMAN RIGHTS Department Decree NO. : C-682.HT.01.02 TH 2007.



VISION
Layung Fajar Indonesia Foundation is a non profit organization which organizes its activities to community empowerment, education and training to help poor children who cannot afford to go to school, as well as providing humanitarian assistance to the victims of natural disasters and work with appropriate plan, honest, transparent, independent, and professional.

MISSION
• Conducting Empowerment Program, Gives Training, Advocacy and providing assistance to
  the poor community.
• Identify the poor children who cannot go to school ,help the victims of natural disasters
  in the community, find and gives  solutions.
• Provide  education and training to poor children dropping out of school in order to have
  the needed skills.
• Do rapid action to help the victims of natural disasters and conduct humanitarian relief 
  programs.
• Develop a community participatory development of natural disaster victims and victims 
  of social humanity.
• Develop and promote good understanding among the people in the community.
•Take an active role to supervise the social assistance and humanitarian aids.

Experience of the Organization:
-Establish Command Post during the Flood , evacuate and help the victims  in Jakarta, in 
 January 2007.
-In collaboration with the Integrated Development Mission Asia (Amid) organizes Free
 Medical for the poor people in the village of Bidaracina, January 2007.
-As a Local Partner of UNESCO on the Program "Strengthening Community-Based Flood 
  Resilience in Bidaracina Village, East Jakarta".
-Conducting training on the Flood Mitigation for The Flooding Task Force  in the Village 
  of Bidaracina East Jakarta, in September 2007.
-Implementing the Community Empowerment for the Disadvantaged and poor people in the 
 Village of Bidaracina, financed by DKI Bank Program, March 2008.
-Implement Free Education Program for the poor children, and nurture foster children in 
 the Village of Bidaracina.
